From the Editor: The goal of the Weekly is to get MoTAS members the information they need on upcoming activities, and then get out of the way. If you have any information on MoTAS activities you need to get out to the membership, please contact the Weekly Editor at cybermaven@tasnorthridge-motas.org. During the summer, when there are not a lot of events, the weekly will appear … less than weekly. 1. SEPTEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING – SUN SEP 14

September 14 will be the first meeting of the MOTAS year. We will discuss the succot building and the annual pancake breakfast for the religious school coming October 5 and October 12 respectively. Please attend and bring a temple friend. A full breakfast, including bagels, lox, and eggs, will be available starting at 8:45am. Join us for our usual business review, and learn what is happening with the temple.

If you are wondering about the Pancake Breakfast: According to the Temple Calendar, we are doing the Pancake Breakfast the sixth day of Sukkot, which is the first Sunday of Sukkot, Sunday, October 12. We will be building the sukkah the Sunday before that, on October 5, the Sunday after Yom Kippur.

2. MRJ WEBINAR: CAMPUS CLIMATE FOR JEWISH STUDENTS: WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 05:00 PM Pacific, MRJ will be presenting a webinar titled “Campus Climate for Jewish Students: What Parents Need to Know”.
